Our Vineyards
Our estate consists of approximately 120 planted acres with our oldest vines having been planted in 2009. Located in the Willamette Valley, within the Chehalem Mountains and Laurelwood sub-AVA , our vineyard sites range in elevation and contain a variety of clones broken up across seven main vineyard sites. Our diverse varietal selection includes Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Aligoté, and Melon de Bourgogne.
Our Farming Practices
Embracing the inherent diversity of our vineyard sites, we meticulously tailor our farming practices to the distinct characteristics of each location. While the specifics may vary from one site to another, our unwavering commitment to sustainability remains a steadfast thread that binds them all. Our vineyards thrive through the art of dry farming, established with a profound respect for the land, and graced by the gentle embrace of no-till practices. In some of our vineyards, we go even further, implementing organic farming practices and abstaining from the use of herbicides, ensuring the purest expression of the land
Our Varietal Selection
Much like many of our fellow vineyards in Oregon, our initial plantings featured Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. While Pinot Noir remains our flagship varietal, we've expanded our offerings to include other grapes that we believe thrive exceptionally well here in the Willamette Valley. Our first Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris was planted in 2009, our Sauvignon Blanc in 2012, our Chardonnay in 2018, our Aligoté (grafted) in 2021, and our Gamay, Cabernet Franc, and Melon in 2023.
